Runda Villas, Kenya

Runda Villas is a project that involved the design and construction of 4 contemporary villas within the suburbs of Runda in Nairobi, Kenya. The project explored the impact of local material and technology in a contemporary residential project, through innovative juxtapositions of natural stone, timber and craftsmanship. The houses are converted into homes through a high quality of spaces positioned in a manner that ensures high comfort.

Local labour and materials were extensively used in this project in order to promote empowerment of the locals in the region.
